How to make fried idli

Firstly cut the idlis into small pieces.Take a kadhai or oval pan.Add 3 table spoon oil.let the oil be hot, now put one teaspoon full of mustard seeds and curry leaves.You can also add a pinch of turmeric and 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder into the oil but make sure to not cook the spices, as it can alter the taste.

Note-The quantity of ingredients should be altered according to the quantity of idlis.I have fried 6 idlis.So change the ratio accordingly.

Aa soon as you put turmeric and chilli powder, gently put the chopped idli into it.Sprinkle some salt and mix using a spatula.Let the edges of idli pieces be golden.And now the quick fried idli is ready.Make sure to not use accesssive salt as the idli itself is steamed with salt in the batter.Just sprinkling some gives the correct taste.

Note-There are other ways to make fried idli.You can put chopped onions into the oil and then fry the idli with the mentioned seasonings.
