Ingredients
4 capsicum chopped into medium size
3/4 th cup gram flour
1 tea spoon chilli powder
1 tea spoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 nad 1/2 tea spoon salt
1 tea spoon cumin seeds
2 pinches of asafoetida/hing
4 table spoon oil
Tip:- Asafoetida/hing has a very strong flavor and it goes really well with some curries and lentils..also it is known to be one of the most prominent digestive spices..
Method
Put a oval pan or kadhai on high flame..let it be dry completely..add oil..let the oil be warm for some seconds..then add the cumin seeds..make it golden brown..lower the flame and then add the gram flour, chilli powder, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt..mix all the ingredients really well..make sure the flame is in medium because gram flour gets brown too quick..Cook all the ingredients in medium flame for 2 minutes..then add the chopped capsicum into it..mix well..higher the flame and cook by flipping the mixture time to time using a spatula..cook for 3 minutes in high flame and then lower the flame by closing a lid to cook the capsicum until it turns soft..check in between to get the prefect texture..flip time to time..when the capsicum turns soft..switch of the gas and store in a hotpot for you lunchtime.
Try this capsicum recipe and must share with your friends and family.👍
