Ingredients

2 bunches of finely chopped fenugreek leaves

2 cups wheat flour

1 cup gram flour

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 and 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder

1 tablespoon salt

3 tablespoon oil

1 teaspoon carom seeds/ajwain

How to make methi paratha

Start by washing off the chopped fenugreek leaves nicely.strain the water by squeezing with hands.Take a container and put the wheat flour and gram flour along with the mentioned spices like chilli powder,turmeric powder,cumin seeds,carom seeds, salt and oil.

Dry mix all the ingredients well and then gently pour normal water to make a tight dough by kneading well using hands.

As soon as the dough is prepared,keep it aside for few minutes before making the tortilla.Preheat a flat pan or tawa on medium flame.Make tortilla balls and roll it by spreading dry wheat flour.

Now grease your pan and put the rolled fenugreek tortilla on it.Flip it, spread 1 teaspoon oil by putting gentle pressure.Flip it again and repeat the same process.Roast on medium flame to avoid overcooking.Nd you will see beautiful golden dots all over.Transfer it to your plate and enjoy the yummy Indian food.
