Refined dalia

Since traditional times it is used to be as one of the most nutritious and safest food to have for gut health..Dalia is rich in fiber, calcium and also believed to be good for bone health..Dalia are made in different ways, some cook it in a sweetened manner and others cook it in a salted way..I have cooked it with green vegetables and the taste is soo good to have.. you can have it in you breakfast as well as in your lunch.

Making dalia is actually a one pot recipe without much efforts .So when you are in a hurry , don’t forget to try this super easy and healthy recipe.

Ingredients

1 cup dalia

Some thin chopped cabbage

1/2 cup small chopped cauliflower

1/2 cup green peas

You can also add small carrots(optional)

1/2 cup onions (optional)

1 teaspoon grated ginger

2 finely chopped green chilli

Salt 1 and 1/2 teaspoon/according to your taste

3 table spoon cooking oil

2 and 1/2 cup water

Method

Start by putting a pressure cooker on the gas..let it be dry completely..then add the oil..let it be hot..add mustard seeds to pop..then add all the veggies you are using..now put the grated ginger and green chillis in the veggies..cook in medium flame for 3 minutes..then put the dalia into it..mix well again..roast for just 1 minute in medium flame only..add salt and water according to the mentioned quantity..Now switch the flame to high,close the lid and let it whistle for 4 times to cooked up well..wait until the whistle settles and yes this simple yet the most healthy meal is ready to be served in your plate…

This is absolutely good at taste.
