Nariyal kaju barfi made in coconut milk

Hello guys!!Its a dessert again..and its a very simple and delicious dessert we can make easily at home.We all love kaju barfi and coconut barfi diffrently. Occasions are incomplete without these delicious desserts..But this time its a combination of cashews and coconut which is really nice and tasty..The good part about this recipe is there is no butter or oil added to it..just a simple recipe which is delicious in taste..I wanted the taste to be full and raw, so I have not added any kinds of artificial flavor because coconut and cashews have their own natural taste..

This barfi/bars are cooked in coconut milk and it took me 15 minutes to complete the dessert fully..You can have it as halwa/pudding when its hot and also you can make bars like the above picture..both are good..As we all know, no occasions are complete without desserts and also on our regular days we all crave for some delicacy at times..and if you love to explore and taste different kinds of desserts, go through the simple process of making coconut cashew bars easily at home..

So , to make coconut cashew bars or the delicious nariyal kaju barfi ingredients we need are.



2 cups coconut milk

1 cup cashews

1 cup very finely grated coconut

3/4 cup sugar

This is all, these are the only ingredients we need to make this delicious dessert.


Firstly take a bowl and soak the cashews in good quantity of water for 10 to 15 minutes..

To make nariyal kaju barfi the most important thing we need is, coconut milk..you can easily make coconut milk at home..so let’s make it😊..Take small pieces of fresh coconut, like around 3 cups..grind it well..then add 1 cup water and grind it again really well…then stain the coconut milk using a thin and fresh cotton cloth by squeezing it tighy..Now grind the same coconut by adding 1/2 cup water again..repeat the process by adding less quantity of water until it becomes 2 cups of milk..

After extracting the milk,keep the squeezed coconut into a bowl..Now grind the soaked cashews into a paste like texture..

Simply take a pan..add coconut milk and grated coconut into it..grated in the sense, not really you have to grate it differently..put the one we used to extract coconut milk..now mix well..keep stirring in medium flame.. as soon as it starts to boil..add the cashew paste..mix well again..keep stirring until it becomes semi thick in texture and the milk dries up..Now add the sugar..stir well..higher the flame a bit and keep stirring because as soon as you put sugar to any dessert it becomes sticky..So stir the mixture using a spatula until it takes a thick pudding like texture..

Now grease a container with a little butter , also you can use a still plate.. pour all the mixture into it and pat the spatula lightly for spreading it a bit to make barfi..you can have it hot as soon as its ready or you can keep it overnight to make barfi..cut into pieces and enjoy the yum..It’s delicious.πŸ‘πŸ‘
