How to make tomato chutney/delicious tamatar chutney recipe
This is a very delicious 10 minutes tomato chutney recipe made using tomato, jaggery and some easily available spices in our kitchen.

Today I have brought a very delicious chutney recipe amazing in taste and super simple to make..Chutneys are always our favorite dips and always gives a bonus taste to our food ..This tomato chutney is my all time favorite and I love to have with roti/tortilla and also with rice..the taste is a perfect combination of sweet and salt..
It hardly takes 10 minutes to make this delicious chutney if all the ingredients are ready..If you are in a hurry of your work need some quick recipes, then don’t forget make this delicacy..
Tip:-Tou can use sugar also if you are not too much acquainted with the taste of jaggery..Other ingredients will exactly be same.

Ingredients
3 cups small chopped tomatoes
3/4 cup sugar or jaggery
1 tea spoon salt
1 by leaf
1 table spoon mustard seeds
2 chopped green chilli
2 table spoon tamarind juice
1 tea spoon cumin powder
1 tea spoon red chilli powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
Some red chilli flakes(optional)
2 table spoon oil

Method
To make the perfect tomato chutney, make sure to chop tomato into really small pieces.. So that it gets cooked easily as well as does not need much efforts to give a chutney texture.
Take a pan..put it jn high flame..add oil into it. Now add the mustard seeds and bay leaf..let the seeds pop..put chopped tomatoes,turmeric powder,chilli powder,cumin powder and salt, mix well..cook for 2 to 3 minutes in medium flame.. Now add 1/2 cup of water..let it come to boil..as soon as it starts to boil..close the lid, lower the flame and let the tomatoes be cooked well until it becomes soft..It will take 4 to 5 minutes..after that add the jaggery or sugar, chopped green chilli and tamarind juice..mix well..let the jaggery melt..cook for another 3 minutes for a perfect chutney texture by mashing the tomatoes using a masher..If you love chutneys on the spicier side you can sprinkle some chilli flakes for an even more spicy taste.
