Hello world.Welcome back to the delicious Indian kitchen.As we all know indian foods are full of flavors nd spices.Todays recipe is  a simple and quick stir fried bean that will definitely enhance the taste of your meal.How to cook runner beans?Runner beans are one of the rich source of fiber and nutrition and can make your meal healthy and delicious when cooked the right way.This dark green vegetable is cooked in many different ways, the stir fried ones to the gravy ones.This multiuse vegetable can also be mixed with other vegetables such as potatoes,pumpkin or aubergine.

Runner beans offer several health benefits as they are low in calories and rich in nutrients. They provide a good source of vitamins, including vitamin C, K, and folate. During the season of runner beans, it is mostly available in our kitchen and often  combined with dal/lentils,chawal/rice.So, let’s make this runner beans quick and hassle free.

Ingredients

As it is a simple stir-fried recipe,less ingredients are used that are easily available-

Chopped runner beans

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon Chilli powder

4 tablespoon mustard oil

Salt to taste

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

Stir fried veggies are generally cooked in mustard oil for a warm flavor and color.

Directions

Start by washing off the Chopped runner beans.Strain the water completely.Now put a pan on the gas.Heat on high flame and add oil.let the oil be hot enough to avoid any accessive flavor of mustard.The right way to check, if the oil is ready to stir fry the veggie is, when the bubbles formed disappears completely.Now put the mustard seeds.It will start to pop.Add the runner beans/sem.Put turmeric powder and salt.Use a spatula to flip the beans.Cook on high flame for few minutes until the edges turns light golden.Then add the chilli powder and mix well.Close the lid and let it be fully cooked for few minutes.

Flip the beans time to time for an even texture and color.As soon as it gets cooked, roll it with roti/Flatbread or combine with dal chawal and its a good tasty, healthy meal.Do try on this simple Indian recipe and share with friends and family.
